Andreas Weber is an Assistant Professor of Science, Technology, and Culture at the University of Twente. He is also National Coordinator of STS training for PhDs in the Netherlands. In 2015/2016, he was a fellow of the Sciene History Institute in Philadelphia (US). Andreas holds a PhD from Leiden University (2012). His research focusses on the history of science, the history of natural history collections, and digital biodiversity heritage. He uses his research to reflect upon how the growing use of digital technologies reshapes our understanding of nature and culture in society.
