Michael Nagenborg is Assistant Professor for Philosophy of Technology at the University Twente (NL). His research focuses on the intersection of Philosophy of the City and Technology. He is the co-director of the Philosophy of the City Research Group.
His current research projects include “Bridging Data in the build environment” (NWO, 2018-2022) and “Disastrous Information: Embedding ‘Do No Harm’ principles into innovative geo-intelligence workflows for effective humanitarian action” (NWO, 2021-2025). Relevant publications include the edited volume “Technology and the City: Towards a Philosophy of Urban Technologies” (2020) as well as academic writings on urban resilience, IoT in public space, and urban robotics.
