Jeroen Junte (1967) is a freelance journalist, curator and researcher in design and architecture. He is chief editor of the on- and offline platform Designdigger.nl. He is also a regular contributor to the Volkskrant and Bouwwereld. For nine years he organizes his own quarterly program, Design Digger, at Pakhuis de Zwijger. He also writes books; his most recent publication is Do It Ourselves. A New Mentality in Dutch Design (nai/010 publishers), the first book to describe a post-crisis generation of designers. Jeroen curated several exhibitions, including Slow Tech about the fusion of craft with high-tech production with 3D printers and robots. His most recent exhibition was Luxe? at design museum Cube, which explores new forms of luxury, such as privacy, time and nature. Finally, he teaches at institutions such as the Rietveld Academy, the Sandberg Institute and the Design Academy Eindhoven.
